Firestik FireUp 99 FS-99-W - Tuneable Top for Solarcon A99
The FS99 is a 150 cm (5 foot) top loaded Firestik whip that replaces the existing upper section of your A99 base Antenna.
Firestik's top-loaded coil design creates a lower angle of radiation. That means you get more distance from an easy-to-install, high performance upgrade.
Just remove the original upper section of your A-99 base and screw-in the 3/8x24 threaded base of the FIRE-UP 99 antenna. The patented Firestik bare-hands tunable tip gives you even more freedom to fine-tune your antenna to a specific frequency and further expands the overall tuning range of your A99 base.
Features:
Easy-tune 'bare-hands' tunable tip
Top-loaded 5/8 wave coil design
Rugged solid-fiberglass core
High power handling; Lower angle of radiation
NOTE: The FS-99 is IS NOT a stand-alone CB antenna. The frequency of the FS-99 is 32.700MHz. However, when used on the A99, the overall frequency of the combined sections brings the primary operational frequency to approximately 27.185MHz.
